I am thrilled to once again have been invited to participate in PIÑA - an annual exhibition of art and sculpture by over 95 emerging artists, at La Casa Amarilla in Málaga City.
La Casa Amarilla was established in 2008 as a non-profit cultural association. Since then, under the leadership and curation of David Burbano and creative director Roy Laguna, it is has become one of the most important centres for developing and cultivating new Contemporary Art & Culture in in a city brimming over with artistic and creative talent. It is based in the heart of Málaga City at Calle Carretería, 23 BIS, Málaga.
This year I have submitted a work called ‘Energía de la Tormenta’ (English translation: Energy of the Storm). I used willow charcoal on Hahnemühle mould-made watercolour paper - 100% cotton rag on 300g/m2. It is framed as per instructions from LCAmálaga (black frame 30 x 40cm).
